Los Santos Fire department is a local authority in charge of preventing and fighting fires, part of a local government. May provide other emergency services as well, such as saving lifes in case of accedent or supporting other authorities such as LSMD.
LSFD is located in Los Santos, Rodeo. LSFD is a national governing body, which works with police and other national services.
Our FD Staff are:
1. Mckenzie_Stark - FD Chief
2. Pablo_Alonso - Assistant Chief
3. Tom_Carter - FD Captain
Los Santos Fire Department has the following ranks:
1. Explorer - firefighter who has just joined FD and is on his training.
2. Probationary - firefighter who has finished his training and is ready to do his job but still is registred as treinee in FD.
3. Firefighter - is a qualified basic worker, firefighter that has finished his training course and knows his post well enough to take responsibility to give orders to Explorer and Probationary firefighters.
4. Driver - also known as “Engineer”, “Chauffeur”, “Fire Equipment Operator” (FEO) and other terms. In most departments this is the person who drives the vehicle and operates the pump or aerial. He is a specialist who knows everything about that piece of apparatus.
5. FD Lieutenant - the officer over a single company. Commands on all other lower ranked firefighters.
6. FD Captain - he may have one or more lieutenants working at the station with him. This officer is often the initial command at emergencies and can be called upon to fill in for the FD Chief during his absence. A captain may also be over a special section or function. Examples are: Dispatch, Training, EMS etc.
7. Assistant Chief - same as a FD chief. In other departments this is a staff chief.
8. FD Chief - operational supervisor over Fire Department. The highest ranking officer on duty on a 24 hours basis. Can also be over a division of the department such as Training, Communications, etc.
In Emergency
If you had an accedent! Don't waste your time and /call 911 for emergency services, choose firefighters or paramedic service, which will report to the LSFD as well as to LSMD and give a small description of what and where it happened.
Training
Our staff is training in different situations, such as fighting fire, driving, flying, swimming and rescuing people in different areas.
Rules
1. In emergency, every fire fighter must be ready for action, either to take fire truck or helicopter.
2. Every fire fighter must be on duty, for those who are off duty are not allowed to do their job!
3. Every fire fighter must bring LSFD vehicle back after use!
4. Every fire fighter must report to other departments about emergency or your arrival to the point!
5. Every fire fighter must always listen higher ranked fire fighters!
6. If fire fighter is on his training, fire fighter must go off duty and report to the LSFD.
7. Fire fighter should never abuse LSFD Vehicles!
8. Fire fighter should never listen to other department orders, if any of members from other department gives you orders, report to LSFD department!
9. If you're on duty, you need do your job, dont drive around or relax!
10. Always report to the FD Chief if you are leaving!
